Create and manage extended texts for customers and vendor, with options to print them on documents.

Module Description

This module offers the possibility of creating extended texts related to the customer and supplier records and of being able to report them on all documents where the records are used.

Through some settings it will be possible to decide whether or not to print the extended text on the various documents.

Functionality

Inserting extended texts

In both the Customer and Supplier records, it is possible to access the extended texts by selecting “Related” - “Customer”/”Vendor” - “Extended texts”.

At this point the page will open where it will be possible to see all the extended texts related to the personal data.

Selecting “New” will create a new extended text, while selecting one of the texts in the list will allow you to modify it.

In the General Tab the fields to set are:

  • Language code: Indicates the language of the extended text. It will be recalled on documents related to the customer/supplier if the document language is the same.
  • All language codes: By activating this flag the extended text will be recalled on the documents without importing the language of the same.
  • Start Date: Date from which the extended text will be active.
  • End Date: Indicates the end date of use of the extended text.
  • Description: Extended text description.
  • Position: Indicates where the extended text will be placed in the document, header or footer.

The extended text to be reported in the documents will be inserted on the lines.

In the last tabs, “Sales”, “Purchases” and “Service” you will indicate on which types of documents the text will be reported. You can select one or multiple types of documents.

Once these fields are set, the text will be printed on the selected documents.

Extended texts on documents

On documents, before saving or printing, it is possible to check and even modify the extended texts reported.

By selecting the extended text you will be able to make changes for the specific document.

When printing the document, if you have chosen “Header” in the extended text position, the text will be above the item lines, if you select “Footer” it will be below.
